Bowland Stone-s parent company- Concrete Fabrications Ltd started manufacturing concrete products in 1960 with Paul Elston joining the company in 1983 and being made a director in the late eighties- The Bowland Stone brand was born in the early 1990-s when three independent concrete manufacturers saw the need to create a paving range that could have a national identity- Based in Macclesfield- these companies were each able to create Bowland Stone paving while at the same time remaining independent companies- Paul-s son and daughter Ian and Julia agreed a management buyout in 2010 and now run the Macclesfield site with the support of their spouses and management team- Paul and his wife Sandra still continue to be active within the business- This means that the Bowland Stone brand has now become wholly family owned and operated and strengthens the commitment to deliver high quality products at a competitive price- supplying Garden Centres- Builders Merchants- Landscape Designers- Tradesmen and retail customers alike- Bowland Stone is not just synonymous with beautiful patios- you will also find a wealth of products for every area of your garden from bagged and loose aggregates - sands- fencing- compost- bark and topsoil through to logs- coal- turf- artificial grass and water features- Please contact your local Bowland Stone landscape centre for full stock availability and pricing information-
