Operating from Rugeley in Staffordshire- HaywardBefriending offers Supportive Services and encourages a life of choice for adults who need a helping hand throughout South Staffordshire and North Birmingham- Established in May 2009 the owner Mr Carlton Hayward has many years- experience supporting and befriending within the Social Care Sector- especially the elderly- In 2011 HaywardCare became HaywardBefriending and with this change came a wider focus on all adults in the community- Enabling service users to live a life of choice throughout the year- the organisation provides companionship with good quality befriending skills- With genuine and caring staff- the service is intended to alleviate the symptoms of loneliness- encourage and maintain Service Users independence in the community while offering time out for their family and friends or main Carer- The organisation is able to offer various services- ranging from -call in- home visits- night sitting- domestic cleaning- basic gardening- shopping assistance to accompanied holidays- Tailored to requirements- the services are suitable for those who need support carrying out their normal lives and can ease the symptoms of loneliness- All HaywardBefriending staff are dedicated to changing someone-s life for the better and through caring and their own life experiences they provide this to Service Users- They are insured and reference checked and full-enhanced CRB -Criminal Records Bureau- checks have been undertaken- HaywardBefriending has an expanding customer base- based in and around Birmingham- Cannock and Lichfield- The organisation is managed by Mr Carlton Hayward who has been focusing on the social care industry since losing a close friend- Mr Ronald Morrell aged 88 in 2006- Having previously cared for Ron- Mr Hayward has since dedicated his time to volunteering with the elderly and then went onto working for Age UK- Before entering into social care he worked for a high street bank for over 13 years-
