I am a local friendly HCPC registered podiatrist who is a member of the college of podiatry- I offer a mobile only podiaty services for all foot problems- Skin and nail treatments I offer include the following- Toe nail cutting service- removal of hard skin and corns- reduction of thickned toe nails- conservative ingrowing toe nail treatments- verruca debridement- athletes foot-fungal skin- fungal nails- dry skin- Other foot problems diagnosed and treated include- plantar fasciitis- heel pain- sore toes- flat feet-high arches -that cause pain- achy feet- During your first appointment a full medical history and details of your existing foot complaint need to be taken to ensure you get the right treatment- Sometimes problems with you feet can signal other health issues- so it is important to have a full picture of your health- A podiatrist will check your circulation and nerve supply to your feet to check they are healthy- Looking at changes in your feet and by asking questions about your symptoms and general health can lead to identifing other health problems- For example- diabetes- arterial-venous disease- rheumatoid arthritis- psoriasis arthritis- to name a few possibilities- Podiatry foot screaning can avoid and identify any of these problems and can lead to the correct interventions and management- both through podiatry treatment and referal to other healthcare professionals- This service supports self referral- Available to answer the phone- Monday - Friday 9-5pm and Saturday 10-3pm- I may be treating another patient when you call but please leave a message and I will get back to you promptly-
