The roots of the partnership dates back to 1885 when its two founding members- George Poppleton and Charles Appleby- joined together to form an accountancy practice specialising in insolvency- The business prospered and Poppleton and Appleby became a nationwide name for insolvency based in Sheffield- London- Birmingham- Manchester and Cardiff- In 1984 the national practice was broken up and each office traded independently- Since then the Sheffield office has expanded to become one of the largest independent business recovery and insolvency firms in the country and changed its name in 2004 to -The P-A Partnership--They are now the leading business - company insolvency services provider in UK with 125- years of experience-
