I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with many years experience- I visit clients in their own homes- at a time convenient to them- I am based in Romsey- but cover a large area of Hampshire- After a comprehensive assessment I offer- - individually tailored exercises programmes - practical help with strength- balance and coordination - education and falls presentation - help with everyday tasks such as on-off bed and chairs- stairs- walking outside - assessment and use of walking aids - advice on other equipment - maintenance programmes for ongoing conditions I encourage- - recovery - mobility and function - maximum independence - increased confidence - improved quality of life - control over your own life I have experience in helping patients with the following conditions- - orthopaedic - after general surgery- including heart surgery - respiratory conditions - neurological conditions - general conditions e- G- After a fall or illness- general declining mobility- and confidence- I gain great satisfaction from the role I play in restoring optimum function- whether it be from a recent injury or surgery or a long term problem- I have practised as a Chartered Physiotherapist since graduating in 1978- both within the NHS and privately- I have also worked abroad in Canada and Sweden- I have gained vast experience over the years- working primarily with orthopaedic and respiratory patients- You can self-refer directly to me- I am a registered provider with most of the insurance companies- If you are going to reclaim the cost of your physiotherapy from a health insurance company you may need to visit your GP to ensure that treatment is necessary- To book an appointment or to discuss your needs- please call- text or e-mail me-
