The Learning Support Centre provides a range of expert disability support services that are tailored to the individual needs of our clients-Our services include- one to one specialist tuition- coaching- mentoring- notetaking- transcription services- assistive technology training- personal assistants and personal care-Our role is to support our service users in accessing education and the workplace as well as provide general support with day to day living- Clients might include people with physical or sensory disabilities- people with neurological conditions -e-g- dyslexia- and people with psychological health concerns- who want to develop and enhance their skills for study and job-Before we match a support worker with a customer- a plan for the support and-or care is drawn up in consultation with the customer- At this stage- clear assumptions are outlined to guarantee the support is delivered appropriately and assumptions of the service are realistic-
