At East Northants Tae Kwon Do we run a number of sessions throughout the week- We have children only breakfast and after schools clubs in primary schools- Juniors only sessions- Adults only evening sessions and combined adult and family classes- Everyone is encouraged to train with all other grades- as it is good for both lower and higher grades alike- and family-s can train together and help motivate each other- Please see website for all the different venues and times- Https---www- 1st-taekwondo- Com- East Northants Tae Kwon Do is a friendly family oriented club run by Philip Weston-Riley- 6th Degree Black Belt- We have three clubs based at Corby- Kettering- and Thrapston and currently have over 180 members- We always welcome new members of all ages from 5 to 555- Your first session is free just come along in loose clothing -eg jogging bottoms and t-shirt- and we-ll get you started straight away- As a family group you can all train and grade at the same time- so kids bring your parents and parents bring your kids- Philip Weston-Riley started training in Tae Kwon-do in 1987- Achieving 1st Degree Black Belt Status in 1990- Philip is currently a 6th Degree Black Belt With the T- A-G- B and has been a qualified instructor since 1993- He is also an S- A- Q- Qualified instructor and a registered instructor with the British Taekwon do Council who is the supported by sport England and UK sport- We hold regular coloured belt grading every three months at one of our club venues- with an external examiner -Grand Master David Oliver 9th Degree- coming in to grade the students- The Black belts have their grading at the Bristol academy in the spring and autumn- with over 500 others from across the country going for degree grades- The Association www- TAGB- Biz holds national- English- Welsh- Irish- Scottish and British championships as well as area- and club competitions to test your standard against other students of the same grade or height for junior and different weight categories for cadet and adults- There is no pressure to take grading until the student feels ready and is confident-
