Hello and a warm welcome- I am an experienced Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy -MBACP-- I offer face to face counselling sessions to adult individuals from a confidential- safe and quiet log cabin within the garden of my home set in the peaceful village of Bardwell- 9 miles north east of Bury St Edmunds- Suffolk- I am a caring and empathic counsellor offering you a safe space to speak about the things that are troubling you- supporting you and helping you to gain clarity- direction and acceptance- I shall not be judging you- You may have been thinking about counselling for some time and for some people it can be daunting picking up the phone- I recognise what a huge step it is to contact me and the courage it will have taken you to do so- Already you have decided that something needs to change and together we can explore those areas of your life that you wish to talk about and make sense of the feelings and thoughts you may have about yourself- others or your life- I offer a free 50 minute initial consultation as an opportunity for us to meet- discuss why you may be exploring the possibility of counselling and I will also explain how I work and what you can expect from me- I will also explain what I would ask of you to engage with the work and together we will decide if counselling feels like it could be the right way forward for you- Should you wish to enter into a counselling contract- my fees are -35 per session payable each session- The cabin is accessed down some steps and across a lawn and flat shoes are advised- No referral is needed to contact me- You can contact me by phone or via email All are confidential and if I am unable to answer your call in person- please do leave a message with your contact information and I shall call you as soon as I am able to-
